What is the Baby Trooper ?
It is an Mom's invention for helping adult safely and comfortably to teach and assist small children to walk. It
was given a name as 'BABY TROOPER', imaging a small baby is marching on like a troop. The purpose of using this
walking safety harness is 1) to help a caregiver assisting a small child to walk without bending the backs; 2) to give
the freedom and confident to the children to walk in a natural way; 3) to protect small children in the safe zone. Due
to the great design, Baby Trooper harness not only is able to assist small babies to learn to walk, but also can help
the baby stand, crawl, or secure a small child on a chair, high-chair, shopping cart, car seat. Its function also
extends to be a walking safety harness, sport coaching harness to teach a small child ice-skating. Therefore, Baby
Trooper is a multi-function walker/walking safety harness, which fits for children from 6-months to 3-4 yrs old of age.
When to use the Baby Trooper?
Infants start to learn walking from an age as young as 6-7 months old to 14-16 months old. The age of an
infant being able to walk various individually. Babies start to learn how to stand, how to step, how to crawl, and
finally, how to walk. This is a period of very tough and tiredness time for many adults, a caregiver needs to spend
time as little as 30 min/day to 3-4 hour/day to assist and stimulate a baby to walk. Now, Baby trooper can provide
the help you need to accomplish your job cheerfully.
Why early stimulation is important?
A infant's brain is at its maximum expansion both in mass and obtaining information during the first 3 years of
its development. The brain is busy in building its wiring system with neurons, which form many connections called
synapse, storage the information a brain received. The more information is collected, the more synapse is generated.
Baby's learning and memory ability is depended on the quality and quantity of the synapse generated. As a parent,
we would like to offer our babies a great opportunity to learn and obtain information they need.
Why Baby trooper can stimulate baby's brain and physical development ?
Small children actively receive the information from the surroundings in their early developmental stage. They
directly interact with the objects repeatedly by watching, touching, grasping and enjoy to get first hand experience
from their surrounding world. They learn from their experiences in a very effective way.
During the stage of teaching and assisting small children to walk, keeping their hand-free is the most important
criteria for a baby. Thus, they can touch and obtain the information from the surrounding environment. This is one of
my objective to design the baby trooper harness, which allows a baby directly experience surrounding environment
much better than holding your child's hands or arms. Also, the great thing about the baby trooper harness is that it
allows you to walk with your child side by side
to the park, beach, stores, library, play ground even before your child can walk on its own. Your baby can go with you
through a door, elevator and stairs just like a big kid. This brilliant design allows you to have a very safety zone for
your child, and it gives a great safety support and a beautiful appearance to your child.
How early an infant can learn to walk ?
We can detailedly classify a baby from standing to walk can fall into 5 stages:
1. Pre-learning-walking stage, normally around 5-6 month period, babies normally are able to sit by their own,
start to learn standing and stepping with hold by a child caregiver. At this stage, it is not suggested to put too much
weight on the baby's legs, but a few minutes of practicing standing and walking are suggested.
2. Learning walking, 7-8-9 monts old, babies are able to stand by holding an object. 15-30 minute of each time.
Babies are willing to put their feet down and hold your hand to walk. They can cruse and walk along furniture. The can
walk hours with you if you can hold them. Adults can be very exhausted by walking with them.
3. Early walking stage, 10-11, statistically, there are about 30% of the population can start to walk between
10-11 month old. This is the most difficult stage, babies are in risks of trip and falls on any objects. They can walk
but be very vulnerable.
4. Mid walking stage, 12-13 month old, their legs are getting stronger, they love to practice climbing stairs and
they want you to hold their hands. You are very tired with them. Soon, they can clime the stairs easily by themselves.
5. Master of walking, after 13 months old, they can run and walk easily. Even though, falling is still often
happened. Again, each individual is different from the other, closely watching your baby's physical need can result of
happiness for both adult and the baby.
Most of the infants start to walk around 12 months old.
About 10% infants starts walk around 14-16 months old. Some babies are slow in development, they can start to
walk even late.
Practicing walk is very necessary, it helps motor function and brain development.
Why the old fashion is considered unsafe?
In the normal fashion, a caregiver needs to bend upper human body forwardly to hold baby's arms with both
arms and hands. This position is uncomfortable for both babies and caregivers. To hold infant to walk requires both
hands of the caregivers. Thus, during holding, caregiver's both hands are not free, either do the infant's hands due to
the both arms are held by the care-giver's hands. Babies could not be able to touch and grasp the objects or playing
with their hands with their will. Holding a baby with both or a single hand can often cause joint dislocation from
sudden jerking and lifting a baby's arm and shoulder joints.
Does using baby-trooper will affect baby to learn crawling?
Absolutely not. Both crawling and walking are essential human skills for independence that are obtained at the
very early development stages. Some babies like to learn how to crawl first, then learn to how to walk. However,
some babies do not like to learn to crawl first and would like to learn to walk first and then crawl.
Some parents worry about their children missing of learning crawling, which is no need to be worried about.
About 30 % of children learn to walk first. And they all can crawl perfectly. On average, babies start to learn rolling
around 3-month's old, start to sit around 6-month's old, starts to crawl or walk around 9-month's old. Babies start to
be able to walk from 9-10-month old till 16-month old. However, each baby has its own development time schedule
and preference. Practicing walk do not interfere baby's crawling skills. Any physical exercise gives a great benefits
for your child's development. Safe and sound are the priority things need to be considered.
